About
Shanel Bailey
When Shanel was a kid, she wanted to do it all, be everything and anything, all at once. Since then, not much has changed. She's been singing, dancing, putting on full-scale one-woman-songs (costumes, props and all), for as long as she can remember. She is a born performer who nurtured this bug by attending Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, where she discovered what musical theatre and its career-potential. She is a Summa Cumm Laude Syracuse University Grad with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and joined the cast of The Book of Mormon on Broadway a month later. Through the pandemic she kept busy dancing, singing Youtube covers, and self-taping. Since her time on Broadway, she's had multiple co-star TV roles and her first series-regular role in Paramount +'s "Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies" as Hazel.
"It always seems impossible until it's done." Thanks for coming!
